- achieving gender parity in higher education and education provision in general (enrollment of girls increased more than 5% cross-country)
- girls also benefit from provosion of microfinance loans to their mothers, who get bargaining power in their households
- long history of indigenous NGOs in South Asia, working on social mobilization and development

- the number of NGOs is quickly increasing - in future it will be needed to pay attention to these new NGOs, because of easy availability of funds
